La Biennale di Venezia's partnership programme
for Universities and Higher Education Institutes
at the 54th International Art Exhibition

on every odd year, La Biennale di Venezia organises an International Exhibition of Visual Arts. The 54th International Art Exhibition, ILLUMInations, directed by Bice Curiger, will be taking place this year, from June the 4th till November the 27th;

÷ la Biennale considers its initiatives important occasions for higher education institutes to enrich their educational and scholarly programmes;

÷ la Biennale di Venezia intends to offer institutes very favourable conditions to organise their visits.

Biennale offers groups of at least 50 participants (students and faculty) from Univesities and Higher Education institutions:

a. special 20 EUR passes, entitling to access the exhibition for three days

b. free availability of a suitable workshop space within the exhibition's venues, for self-organised debate sessions;

c. concessionary fees for pocket meals at the Exhibition's cafeterias;

d. logistic assistance with finding an accommodation in Venice, with pre-selected agencies;

e. attendance of conferences or other initiatives taking place within the exhibition's venues;

f. a promotion and communication plan, featuring a page on Biennale's website, with links to the homepages of participating institutes, and the affixing of promotional posters at their venues.
