OPEN CALL for performance artists - PAiN Northern Light Residency

PAiN invites all performance artists all over the world to apply for PAiN Northern Light Residency. The residency will be held in Korpilombolo between 14/11 and 14/12 2011 and aims to result in a new 24 h long performance piece relating to the 24 hours of darkness in a day during mid-winter. One artist only will be accepted.

The piece will be shown as a part of European Festival of the Night in Korpilombolo and will be created on site specifically for Korpilombolo. The chosen artist are offered cover of travelling expences, accomodation in own appartment during the period, working studio at Tornedalsteatern i Pajala, an artist fee of 240 euros, cover of material costs up to 240 euros and a daily allowance of 24 euros.
