"El Reto Ingrávido". Programa comisariado para INGRÀVID2010

Ingràvid. Festival de Cultura Contemporànea de l'Empordà
Figueres, Girona. 24, 25, y 26 de septiembre de 2010 “El Reto Ingrávido” es un programa de arte urbano que se presenta en Ingràvid, Festival de Cultura Contemporánea del Empordà. Una propuesta de cuatro intervenciones en las calles de Figueres a cargo de los artistas Marlon de Azambuja (Sto. Antônio da Patrulha-RS, Brasil, 1978), Fernando García (Madrid, 1975), Carlos Maciá (Lugo, España, 1977) y La Más Bella. Cambiar el punto de vista del paseante, hacer cómplice o partícipe al ciudadano, hacer uso de los elementos comunes para un fin artístico, son los objetivos de “El Reto Ingrávido”, una proeza que nace de la investigación y el “trabajo de campo”, tan olvidado por los artistas de taller. Un desafío que es aún mayor para artistas que deben trabajar en una ciudad diferente a la de su lugar de residencia habitual. Pepe Murciego y Diego Ortiz, integrantes de La Más Bella, realizarán además un taller de edición de revistas experimentales de arte en la carpa Domo, centro neurálgico del festival ubicada en la parte alta de la Rambla.

"El Reto Ingrávido" Urban Art from Madrid for INGRÀVID2010
Ingràvid. Contemporary Culture Festival
l'Empordà, Figueres, Girona. September 24, 25, and 26, 2010 "El Reto Ingrávido" is an urban art program presented at Ingràvid Festival of Contemporary Culture. The program consists of four actions which will happen as site-specific in the streets of Figueres by the artists Marlon de Azambuja (St. Antônio da Patrulha-RS, Brazil, 1978), Fernando Garcia (Madrid, 1975), Carlos Macia (Lugo, Spain, 1977) and La Más Bella. The goal of “El Reto Ingrávido” is to change the view of the pedestrians, involve the village in the artistic action and to use the common elements of urban architecture for an artistic purpose. The program is the result of intense research and field work, a forgotten concept among the artists who create in their workshops. And even more important is the challenge for the artists, if they have to work in a city different from different from where they live. Pepe Murciego and Diego Ortiz, members of La Más Bella, will also give a workshop on how to edit experimental, artistic magazines. The workshop takes place at Domo, the heart of the festival, located at the “Rambla” of l'Empordà.
